1971 Corvette convertible project car for sale. Car ran and drove 10 years ago when put into storage. Has not run since. Car needs total restoration. Very original car. Numbers matching motor. 71, 5XX actual miles. I bought this car intending to do a complete restoration but never got around to it. It has been sitting in my garage since I purchased it. I am the third owner. This car has rust issues. Will need frame repair, windshield frame repair, and birdcage repair. Birdcage repairs require a professional shop that specializes in corvette repair. These repairs are not for the average mechanic. This car will require a complete tear down and restoration but it is a good project since it is all there and nearly all original.
