West Coast Pharmaceuticals is soon going to make an investment worth Rs.50 lakh on their recently launched India’s first e–commerce online pharmacy drug store under the name www.drugneed.com. Through this online pharmacy, patients can buy any Over-The-Counter (OTC) drugs that does not need a prescription over the internet. Till now, West Cost Pharmaceuticals have invested around Rs.45 lakh for the development of this online pharmacy.
Though this online pharmacy was started by Parth Patel, CEO of Drugneed.com last year with around 2000 non-prescribed, personal and beauty products, he is now adding other categories like neutraceutical, wellness, healthcare, nutrient supplements, mineral products shortly. “Our aim by creating this online pharmacy drugneed.com was to provide a platform so that everyone can get an easy access to the daily needed products at their door steps. Patel said that seeing the response from the online buyers, the company has decided to further expand the business by adding more categories to its list for which the company will soon invest around Rs.50 lakh.
